Rose Montoya (she/they) is a transgender Latina activist, educator, speaker, and digital strategist whose work centers trans and Latine liberation, storytelling, and social impact. With over a decade of experience in advocacy and digital communications, Rose has built a platform reaching more than one million people through educational content, public engagement, and campaigns focused on pro-democracy, equity, healthcare access, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Rose currently serves as Senior Digital Strategist for Christopher Street Project, where she helps lead digital advocacy and communications strategy. Her past work has included consulting with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on trans-inclusive policy changes and collaborating with nonprofits, brands, and public figures on initiatives that advance inclusion and public understanding.

A dynamic speaker, Rose has presented at universities, Fortune 500 companies, and political events across the country, bringing an intersectional perspective to conversations around identity, media, culture, and policy. Her advocacy and storytelling have been featured in TIME, Vogue, CNN, and The Washington Post.

Rose has been recognized as one of “18 Advocates Changing the World” in the OUT100 and named Best Activist in the Los Angeles Blade Readers’ Choice Best of LA Awards.
