TESTIMONIALS
“Rose Montoya is an essential voice in conversations about trans inclusion and celebration, and I was thrilled she joined us to put a mental health lens on her life and work during the Influence/Impact session at the second Hollywood & Mind Spotlight. Her words and anecdotes were powerful, and she delivered them in such a genuine way I know they had a big impact on the executives and creatives from across the entertainment industry who were in the room.”

"Yale University’s Transgender Visibility Series 2021 would not have been nearly as successful without the brilliant mind of speakers and performers such as Rose Montoya. Not only did Montoya celebrate the joy within the Transgender community in her engagement with Yale’s LGBTQ youth, but she also delivered an impactful set of resources on how to better support and uplift Transfeminine creators, artists, and people alike. As a proud Non-binary Latina, Montoya’s words and wisdoms were received by Yale’s Office LGBTQ Resources, La Casa Cultural Center, Women’s Gender and Sexuality Department, Ethnicity, Race, and Migration Department, among so many other factions of campus. We can’t wait to have Rose Montoya back again!”

“La Familia de Stanford was honored to have Rose share her story with our community. It’s evident that Rose puts a lot of love and passion into her work and many of the participants expressed appreciation for the advice she had to offer. Throughout discussions that ranged from bullying to navigating relationships, Rose was very respectful and mindful of others' perspectives while standing firm in her own beliefs and values. We are extremely appreciative of Rose’s work with us and especially grateful for her flexibility. La Familia de Stanford could not have asked for a better speaker to close off our Winter Quarter events.”

“At the Estee Lauder Companies, over the course of quarantine, we really amped up our awareness and education amongst our peers in regards to the LGBTQIA+ community. In seeking speakers for our Traveling While LGBTQIA+ we vetted several candidates for this seminar. Well, after we saw Rose, we stopped in our tracks and hoped she was available! Rose’s presence on screen projected through the zoom and into the hearts of all 900+ people on the call. She was so engaging, intelligent and of course, GORGEOUS! I had the opportunity to meet her in person in New York, right after her campaign was released for FOLX Health and I just got chills giving her a hug. She is perfect in every way and I can’t wait until we have the chance to hire her again to speak, hopefully in person next time! I recommend Rose for any event you have coming up, she is a 10 out of 10 and then some!”

“I had the privilege of asking Rose to be a panelist for PFLAG Los Angeles Chapter’s first Transgender and Nonbinary Joy Panel. Rose does a wonderful job of weaving tools and resources into her beautiful storytelling. Not only tools and resources she’s picked up along the way, but also incredible ones she’s made herself! She is ridiculously smart, passionate, and generous in how she shows up for the broader LGBTQ+ community. Anyone would be lucky to work with Rose in any capacity. If you get the opportunity to hear her story, you might begin to understand how thankful I am that she’s now the representation she needed when she was younger. While I wish she didn’t have to be so resilient in the face of various life obstacles, it’s abundantly clear that her advocacy has impacted countless people for the better. It’s an honor to be in community with Rose.”

Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC), had its first virtual pride event this year and it would have not been as impactful without Rose. This was the first year that we could not join our PRIDE efforts in Seattle Pride due to COVID, but with Roswe being our guest speaker, it allowed us to expand our celebration and education to a whole new light.
We have been working each year to grow the event stronger and more inclusive to bring more strenght in our community from all points of view. This year, being a virtual pride, was challenging, inspiring, and exciting all rolled up into one. With Rose being part of this, it truly elevated the event and made it an outstanding success. They gave such an amazing conversation that inspired every DESC team member/client that attended. This interview should be viewable at some point in the year on one of our social medias, so hopefully others will be able to enjoy this moment as well.
This event means so much to our agency as it is one of the biggest events that we throw for LGBTQA+ team/clients and usually lucky to be part of with our Seattle community. Rose made our purpose and open forum so enlightening/easy that we just ended off having a great chat on topics like why you do what you do and a discussion on Trangender needs/issues in modern society. I hope that Rose is interested in future projects with us, as I would love to have another conversation with her and our community.
Sending tons of good energy. Thank you again from the bottom of our DESC hearts.
