Ballroom is an underground 2SLGBTQPIA+ subculture that originated in New York City by Black and Latine queer individuals, especially trans women and drag queens, in oppositing to the discrimination and racism they faced in their every day lives and even by white LGBTQPIA+ community members.
Rose is a memeber of the Gorgeous House of Gucci, a ballroom house created in 2019 by Jack Mizrahi, Kelly Mizrahi, Marlon Mizrahi, and Trace Lysette.
